They play a crucial role in welcoming fellows from the United States and supporting them during their time in Ghana. Our Board of Advisors in Ghana, with their extensive local connections, collaborates closely with the USA Board of Advisors to ensure a seamless experience for all participants. Together, we create a network of support that enhances cultural exchange and professional growth.

Sean McMillan is a visionary leader and entrepreneur with a passion for innovation, global commerce, and community impact. With extensive experience across IT solutions, government, and big pharma sectors, Sean is currently focusing on international trade, specifically importing and exporting goods out of Ghana. His work reflects a commitment to fostering global collaboration and economic development. Sean's journey is marked by groundbreaking achievements in technology and business. While attending NJIT, he was awarded an NSF grant for the commercialization of a future energy-harvesting technology that could harness kinetic, solar, and EMF radiation to generate power. He also secured a URI grant for designing a personal aerial vehicle (PAV), often referred to as a flying car, showcasing his ingenuity in the fields of energy and transportation innovation. Sean serves as an ambassador to the Tamokloe Kingdom of Ghana, fostering cultural exchange and promoting innovation. He is the co-founder of the Ghana to the Moon Conference and Festival, an initiative dedicated to advancing technology, entrepreneurship, and education across Africa.

Sean McMillan

Joshua Agbozo is the second child of Ghanaian-American immigrants Matthew Agbozo, a retired aerospace engineer, and Delasi Agbozo, a nurse practitioner. Joshua was born and raised in Neptune, NJ, where he graduated from Neptune High School. Through faith and hard work, Joshua received the William J. & Eliza M. Schiff Scholarship, a full academic scholarship that allowed him to continue his education at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he studied electrical engineering with a concentration in computer science. In early 2019, Mrs. Delasi Agbozo was diagnosed with breast cancer. This life-changing diagnosis of his mother, along with the recent passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, began Joshua’s search for alternative medicines. This search landed him at a newly licensed CBD/Hemp farm located in northern California. Over the next two years, Joshua studied greenhouse and outdoor production with a focus on organic practices and medicinal uses. After returning to Philadelphia, he began working as a consultant for indoor production and hydroponics, consulting for licensed farms in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas. With an ever-growing passion for the sciences, Joshua continued his education and career as a software developer while working as a consultant in the hemp industry. By mid-2022, Joshua was working as a Technical Lead for a New York-based production company in addition to his work in the hemp industry. Due to his strong ties and family legacy, Joshua was invited back to Ghana by his employer to facilitate business deals happening across the diaspora. While in Ghana, he began working with the high-end streetwear brand and music label FREE THE YOUTH as a business development consultant. This role transitioned into a full-time position working as a technical lead and business development manager for the growing startup company. In 2024, Joshua became the vice chairman of the Togbi Nyaho Tamakloe Foundation, having been chosen for his agricultural knowledge, technical skills, and keen interest in family history. Joshua now works as the custodian of the lands passed down from Togbi Nyaho Tamakloe I, which span over 700,000 acres. Joshua has made it his goal to increase development in the region through agriculture and STEM education

EMIL ACOLATSE FOUNDER Emil Acolatse created F.I.R.E. with the vision and drive to improve the conditions of his community as well as others. His goal for F.I.R.E. is to be a beacon of light thats networks and provide resources for all in need. He is focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity. “Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do” Emil Acolatse Born in Accra, Ghana Emil moved to Philadelphia at the age of 8. Living in time in Philadelphia Emil played basketball for his high-school Parkway Northwest while excelling in the classroom getting multiple full paid tuition scholarships to various Pennsylvania state schools. Emil decided to go to Cheyney University thee first HBCU. AT Cheyney Emil studied and graduated with a chemistry degree. After college Emil bounce around several teaching jobs and technical jobs until he landed a research technician role at ExxonMobil. While at Exxon Emil had a big interest in helping the community and giving back to the youth as he was already doing genuinely. He started a non-profit organization called F.I.R.E. FREE INSPIRATION REACHING EVERYONE catering to the youth and helping them through mentorship, educational tutoring and development. With these programs he saw the need to help and celebrate the adults within the community who were deserving of praise for their constant impact in the welfare of their community. In that the development of the Black Gala was formed to recognize these individuals in a black tie and formal setting. The work did not stop as he wanted to provide support and resources to his home land of Ghana. In 2017 Emil held his first basketball tournament in Accra Ghana at the historic Lebanon House. This is step in Emil's purpose to truly giving back to those in need. Emil has been running his non-profit organization for over 6 years contributing and collaborating with other organizations and community leaders in the Philadelphia to help the youth. Emil is thankful to be a servant of his community and plans to take his organization to the next level.

John Hardy is a true jack of all trades, with a dynamic and versatile career that began in April 1999 at the age of 19. Starting with the Local 944 Carpenter Union of California, he developed a deep understanding of construction and real estate, which laid the foundation for his diverse professional journey. John's expertise spans multiple fields. In his early twenties, he made a significant impact in real estate by purchasing and renovating over 19 homes in Tennessee. His entrepreneurial spirit then led him to co-partnered with a company specializing in consumer products, animation, and production, which blossomed into the multi-million dollar MINDSTYLE empire in China. In addition to his success in single-family home renovations, John is a seasoned multifamily developer. He has specialized in multifamily developments in Nevada and Texas, particularly in Pahrump, NV, where his projects have transformed the local landscape. In 2019, John launched Uplifting Investment Group, reflecting his enduring commitment to sharing his wealth of knowledge and fostering financial growth. John's multifaceted career and relentless drive have established him as a leader in multiple industries, continually spreading knowledge and wealth in abundance.
